1. Can I get a floating license?

2. What does Maintenance Contract mean? What does it include?

12 month support is always included in the license fee. Support includes access to support@illuminatelabs.com and patch releases for that specific version, but NO new versions (you get Turtle 4.0.1, 4.0.2, etc. but not 4.1). To receive the new versions you can order a Maintenance Contract in addition to the standard license. Maintenance includes ALL new versions for 12 months. The Maintenance Contract is 899 USD per workstation license and 399 USD per rendernode license when purchased in conjunction with a license. The Maintenance Contract can also be purchased at any time for 12 months after the purchase of a license, then running from the original license purchase date or when previous Maintenance Contract expired. Current release cycle of Turtle includes two major releases per year.

3. Can I purchase 3 licenses and only have maintenance on one?
Yes, you can.

4. I bought Turtle some time ago and now I want to upgrade to the current version, what do I need to do?

*If you have purchased Maintenance Contract and it has not expired you will be upgraded free of charge.

*If you are approaching the end of your Maintenance Contract and want to extend it for another 12 months you can do that. The cost for this is 899 USD per workstation and 399 USD per rendernode license.

*If you do not have a Maintenance Contract you can get one at any time for 12 months after the purchase of a license. The contract will then run from the original licence purchase date or when previous Maintenance Contract expired.

*If more than 12 months have passed since your maintenance agreement has expired then you will need to order a new license.

5. Is it possible to purchase maintenance for 16 months, rather than 12 months?

You can purchase maintenance for any amount of time, as long as it is longer than 12 months. Please contact our sales department for a quote.

6. I am a reseller and want to start selling Turtle, what should I do?

8. Is it possible to purchase training for Turtle

Yes, onsite training is available. However demand is high and our time is very limited. Please contact us at sales@illuminatelabs.com to discuss this further.

9. I want to know how much Turtle costs in Yen, Euro or Pounds.

Turtle workstation licenses cost 1499 USD and rendernode licenses cost 999 USD. Volume discounts for rendernodes are available.
